Scanman UK Update - 25/03/2020 - Business As Usual
Scanman UK will continue to remain open and in production until further notice. We will continue as an important partner to the supply chain, manufacturing essential materials and products for essential businesses.
Enhancements have been made to the health and safety in the workplace and we have implemented all Government guidelines to ensure social distancing and the "two metre rule" within the workplace. The health and safety of our workforce is imperative and during this difficult time we have received full support from all key members of staff, enabling the company to continue to perform with no interruptions. We are no longer accepting any external visits or collections as we continue to manufacture within a controlled environment.
At this stage, we are still receiving raw materials on time, but we will soon expect delays in transportation and where applicable, you will be notified by our sales and customer service team on a day-to-day basis.
We will be contacting all of our customers to help assess future requirements and whether we need to place any additional stock holding or forward plan for key order requirements. We are happy to hold stock for the next 3 months to help businesses function without effecting cashflow and guaranteeing continuation of supply.
For any products required for the NHS or Healthcare sectors, these will be prioritised and receive our immediate response.
